Suspension of MABELY GRAND HOTEL Operations for season 2020

 

 

Dear valued guests,

We fully comprehend that the spread of Covid-19 has dramatically affected your life and your intent to execute your travel plans. The global travel community is trying, like everyone, to navigate this extraordinary situation.

Adhering the Greek government announcement, to postpone the opening date of seasonal hotels and resorts of the country until the 1stJuly in an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19, our priority had always been the safety of our visitors, employees and associates and was of primary and dominant importance for considering our re-opening.

After weeks of reflection, with great responsibility and mature thinking, we have unfortunately decided to suspend our operation for Season 2020. This decision was contemplated after weighing this unprecedented situation, combined with the unfamiliar progression and spread of the virus as well as the growing trend of confirmed cases in neighboring countries.

This is not a decision we have made lightly, but we believe it is in the best interest of our guests, employees and associates. Since we first opened, the safety of our guests has always been our top priority, and in the current situation this is the best way to continue to put health first. With the restrictions of Covid-19 implemented, we believe would have a negative effect to our family business which would be opposite of what we are striving for during the past 12 years of operation.

Holidays should always feel relaxing in our unspoilt Greek haven, without any concerns, especially the most important one, safety and health. We will take this time to prepare ourselves for that and welcome you back again in 2021. In contrast to this unpredictable situation, our experienced team declares a strong presence, with a realistic plan for the operation of our resort during the next summer season.

At this difficult time for all, our hearts are with our guests, our colleagues and all people around the globe. We thank our guests and colleagues for their loyalty and commitment and we look forward to welcoming everybody back to Mabely Grand Hotel when we reopen.

We comprehend that these news might be difficult for any guests who had booked their holidays during this time. We understand their disappointment, and we invite them to reschedule their stay from 1st May 2021 until 15th October 2021. If you have booked directly with our hotel, you will be contacted and informed regarding your reservation, whether you prefer to cancel or amend for next summer Season. We recommend you contacted your Travel Agency, if your booking has been made through one of our cooperative Tour Operators. We have offered to amend any bookings, affected during Season 2020, with the same price for Season 2021, therefore there will not be any further expenses in your booking at Mabely Grand Hotel. We also want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the messages of support that we have received over the past few months. We are all looking forward to the day where we can once again welcome you with the level of excellence you have come to expect, when you are ready to travel.
